Lohan will not act opposite Tom Cruise in MI3

Lindsay Lohan had hoped to get the female lead in Mission Impossible III.She'd met with MI3 director J.J. Abrams and had begun training and trimming down, just in case. Lohan, who's almost 19, is ready for bigger films after winding up a Disney commitment with Herbie: Fully Loaded, due June 24.

Though she'd wanted to work with Cruise, she now sounds like the superstar spotlight has lost luster — especially after her car wreck.
